Art Club

Instructors: Mr. Bottomley and Ms. Monnich

Art club is for students interested in art, and wanting to go beyond the classroom curriculum. The expectations are the same in art club as they are in class.
 

ART CLUB DATES
ART CLUB WILL MEET THE SECOND AND THIRD THURSDAY OF EACH MONTH.


IN THE EVENT THAT ART CLUB MUST BE CANCELED, AN ANNOUNCEMENT WILL BE MADE IN THE MORNING AND IN THE AFTERNOON. STUDENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE TO LISTEN TO ANNOUNCEMENTS EVERY DAY, SO THAT THEY KNOW OF ANY CHANGES.
 
As a reminder all students attending art club must either take the activity bus, or get picked up by a parent/guardian by 4:30 PM at the back of the building.

American Art Museum
The Smithsonian American Art Museum is the nation's first collection of American art, exhibiting works of art by John Singleton Copley, Gilbert Stuart, Winslow Homer, John Singer Sargent, Childe Hassam, Mary Cassatt, Georgia O'Keeffe, Edward Hopper, Jacob Lawrence, Helen Frankenthaler, Christo, David Hockney, Roy Lichtenstein, to name a few. These artists are some of the many that middle school students will be studying.
