Youdo not need to go to an Apple branch to open your account - we cancomplete your application during training, and you will receive youraccount number once your application is complete.
What is the role of a student bank worker?
Our student workers:
- Open accounts
- Make deposits and withdrawals for customers of the Credit Union
- Use their math skills
- Use great customer service
- Learn how to deal with everyday banking situations
- Learn responsibility - workers must to report on time, work theirshift, and present themselves in a courteous and professional manner

Studenttraining for bank workers will be on Tuesday, September 17 OR Wednesday September 18 after school from 3 - 5pm. The training isrequired to work for the bank. If you were given a form, pleasereturn it to Mrs. Alton by Monday, September 16th. You must have apermission slip signed by a parent to stay after school.
Students who live within the Rippon boundaries may ride the activity bushome, walk, or be picked up by a parent. Please note on the permissionform how you will be transported home.
The Rippon Apple Federal Credit Union will open on Thursday, September 19th during lunch shifts. We will also be open during open house that evening. Come in and say hello!
Savings accounts may be opened during open house! Applications foraccounts will also be available if you wish to take one with you.

Rippon is proud to partner with AppleFederal Credit Union! Though the branch is student-run, it will offerproducts and services similar to other credit unions and full servicebanks. The bank is scheduled to operate before school and during lunchshifts. A savings account can be opened with as little as $5, but AppleFCU is covering this cost for you! In addition to traditional ATM &check cashing cards, Apple FCU also offers bill payer,overdraftprotection, free travelers checks, direct deposit, and several differenttypes of savings.
