On the sign put your Name, your PE Teacher, and have an adult family member sign it as proof that it is legit -OR- they may stand with you in the picture. You can also videotape and record your time as well.

3.        Creativity is appreciated. Do not be afraid to be unique!

4.         Submit your pictures, and information to your PE Teacher.

These pictures are  DUE  NO LATER THAN June 5th, 2020.

The third lesson is posted and has its own folder.  This week we are doing HIIT workouts.  There are 7 minute workouts also in the folder that you can do :-)

April 20-24 Update:
The second lesson is posted in the folder.  It is labeled April 20-24.

April 13- April 17 Update:

Hello! I hope all is well and everyone is washing their hands :-) If you look to the left, there will be a new area where we will be posting non-graded, classroom information/lessons and ideas called ONLINE learning April 2020-June 2020.
We will be getting a variety of ideas from all 4 PE teachers as we collaborate together.
You do not have to do them at any specific time.  You can do them whenever you have 18-20 minutes free daily.

The first lesson is posted in the folder.  Stretching 1.0.

If you need immediate response we will be available during these times: (Class Time) Wednesdays: 8:30-10:00 PM and (Office Hours) Fridays 1:30-300 PM.  Please email me at smithen@pwcs.edu or I will be available via Microsoft Teams Chat, if you want to chat or have any questions.

Again, these lessons are will not be graded and they are not mandatory. Please remember to practice social distancing while doing all
activities.  See if you can get your family involved as well.

3rd Quarter Grades Update:
All grades are updated. If a evaluation of a skill was not completed, it did not count against you.  The only grades in were completed work.  If you are looking for opportunities to raise your grade, email me and I will give you a couple of options. Feel free to email me if you have any other questions.

Before this unexpected break, my classes were going over Volleyball skills and being
evaluated.
Skills that were evaluated were:
1) Toss
2) Bump
3) Set
4) Serving

Feel free to try these cool things at home.  You can modify these activities to fit the space.

Suggested Activities at Home:

· Wash the car/dog, do some yard work, clean out the garage/storage area, wash the windows, sweep the floor.

· Set up a Fitness Circuit: stair climbing, stretching, wall sit, plank, jumping jacks, curl ups, pushups, jump rope, squats, lunges, etc.

· Crank your favorite music and dance like nobody’s watching!

· Create a “Fit Deck” of cards…write an exercise on each card in a deck of cards. Shuffle them up and deal out a good work out!

· Create a practice plan to get better at a specific skill – or learn a new one (juggling, parkour, yoga) then practice the basics and get better each day.

· Take household items and make up a new game to play/physical challenge (think hungry hungry hippo game, water bottle flip, cornhole, popsicle stick and cup tower challenge, the floor is lava game…)
