Get In the Game... READ!
Open a book and get in the game! It's time to
finally catch up on that book you've been too busy to read. Rippon Middle
School highly encourages all students to participate in the summer reading
program. Students may read books from the summer reading lists or ANY other
Summer Reading Lists
Students who participate and turn in their documentation forms will be eligible
to get a pass to go the front of the
lunch line for the first month of school. In addition, they will earn one extra-credit "A" in their
language arts classes for reading one book or two extra-credit "A's"
for reading two books. Students can choose one of the following options to
document their summer reading:
Option 1: Print the PWCS summer reading
documentation form, fill it out, and hand it to your language arts teacher by
Option 2: Print your reading log from the public library's Explore Summer Reading
program. Hand it to your language arts teacher
by September 9th.
Students who choose the option of participating in the Prince William Public
Library summer reading program should read the number of books designated for
their grade level.
