What We Do – Early Identification Program

7th Graders,

The EIP Program is a five-year college preparatory program at George Mason University. In order to qualify to apply for the program, you must meet the following requirements

  • Be the first in your family to attend college in the U.S.
  • 7th-grade student in PWCS

After students are recommended by a school or community member, the student must then complete an application which is reviewed by GMU officials and members of a community board. 

 

Here are some of the benefits of the program (8th-12th grade):

  • Academic coaching and mentoring
  • Family and student support around college pre
  • Scholarship opportunities and career exploration
  • Guaranteed admission to George Mason University for eligible students

 

If you have any questions or are interested in being nominated for the program please schedule a meeting with your 7th-grade counselor to further discuss it.
